Our Commitment to Safety and Care – Pan-PCN Paediatric & Adult Basic Life Support Training

At North 1 PCN,  the safety and well-being of our patients is our top priority. We are proud to share that our dedicated team undergoes Basic Adult and Paediatric Life Support Training on an annual basis as part of our PCN-wide commitment. This ensures that our staff consistently refreshes and enhances their emergency response skills.  These training sessions are delivered by trainers accredited by the Resuscitation Council UK, guaranteeing that our team receives instruction that meets the highest standards of resuscitation practice.

With this comprehensive training, our team are well-prepared to:

  • Recognize life-threatening emergencies in both adults and children.
  • Administer high-quality CPR.
  • Use automated defibrillators (AEDs) effectively.
  • Recognise and respond anaphylaxis
  • Respond promptly to choking incidents
  • Provide initial emergency care until further medical assistance arrives.
